The style these days are to wear your clothing really really tight, They also think all girls a skinny twigs. The men's clothing seem to fit fine.
I wear a Large there too, but it doesn't bug me. I sorta like it because you can see all my muscle in my arms when i wear a t-shirt from them! :)

â¥Hi! I think they are so small so they fit your body just perfectley. I am 13 and 5'2 and 92 pounds because i have a very fast metabolism which makes u not gain a lot of weight. I can fit into the Abercrombie kids clothes in large. I dont really know but I guess it is soo if sufficates you or something. I mean come on! they need to make their clothes a lil bit bigger. Don't you think?

the clothing is suppose to be slightly tight fitting. When i was in high school (1999-2002) i wore alot of a&f. its suppose to be fitted so dont buy anything that is too big. i got a lot of compliments. even today during cold season i buy the sweaters because they are fitted and warm. its not your weight, or you size. its just suppose to be fitted. if you like loose clothes, try the Gap
also dont shop at A&F for kids go to the adult/teenage store, the main one

I have no idea, I am usually a small/medium depending on fit and at A&F I'm a large, and once I even had to buy an extra large shirt there!

Well the reason they make the sizes so small is because they expect women to be Very skinny. Like model fit. Because their models are very skinny so they use their bodies as their sizes. So that is why I think their sizes are very small.

They're just like that because of the whole you have to be skinny to be pretty/popular/to be anything.....I'm in the exact same position as you, and just because you wear a large there doesn't mean you're fat or anything, it just is because of their skewed sizes....

Because Americans have created an ideal 'look': over-thin and extremely tall, and the major clothing companies cater to that ideal.
