For a while now I cannot open to put in cd's! I think there's something wrong. Now I cannot even open it at all! What can I do? Can it be fixed cheap? Or is it gonna be big, buy something new?

It's possible that the CD-rom drive is damaged. It's not unusual. A replacemenet CD rom (or DVD) is not vert expensive. They range from $25 and up. Only question is if you're comfortable replacing it on your own. If not you may have to pay someone to do it and that could be your only expensive cost.

Also a lot of comuter troublehshooting places will do it, but it might end up costing you about $100 with labor.

unplug your pc, open the case, clean it out (with Aircan or lightly with your compressor) and reseat the cables on the back of the cdrom.

close the case plug the pc back in and power up...
