I burnt popcorn in the microwave beyond recognition. By the time I got to the microwave, the smoke was thick and brown and the popcorn was black and descinigrated. Now I have smoke stains in my microwave. Thanks.

Oh I'm a pro at burining popcorn too.

Anyways, there is no healthy way to get the discoloration out of the microwave....

DO NOT USE OVEN CLEANER OR HARSH CHEMICALS....the residue can actually be microwaved into your food....I made this mistake....

You might want to check with your manufacture and see if they at all sell any microwave cleaners...

I have never dealt with this specific problem but I would try a mr clean magic eraser- they have never failed me and will be safe to use in your microwave!

Try putting a bowl of water with apple cider vinegar in it and bring to a boil.
