Have you been breast-feeding? Often, when a woman breast-feeds, her periods are suppressed. However, you should take a pregnancy test just in case.

It is possible that you could be pregnant. Buy a test, if it comes out negative then wait a couple more weeks. It takes time after having a baby for your cycle to become completely normal again. Your body just went through some major changes, it will take time for your body to get back to normal. I had my baby 6 months ago and my cycle isn't completely back to normal yet. If you haven't gotten your period in the next couple of weeks and your pregnancy test is negative, you need to go back to your doctor.

Definitely possible. Have you been using birth control since you had the baby? Take a pregnancy test to find out for sure. It could just be that your body hasn't gotten back into the normal cycles it was in before, but at least take the test so you can know for sure, and take as good of care of your body and your new baby as you should.

After I had my first and only child, it changed my monthly cycle. I had been irregular from the time I was 20 til I had her at 40 y/o. Then they started like clockwork every 3 weeks. Yes, I was on a 21 day cycle instead 28!! But get tested for you could also be pregnant. All it takes is one time and you are at your most fertile right after giving birth.

It is possible that you could be pregnant again if you have been sexually active since the baby's birth. I would take a pregnancy test to be sure. If it is negative, I would follow up with your doctor to be sure there is not something else wrong. Good Luck!

You and I are in the same boat sister..I had my boy three months back..got my period the first week of December for 1 day, it disappeared completely for 2 weeks, then returned in full force for 3 days and now it feels like I am ovulating just now. If you are really worried, take a preggo test but chances are it is just your cycle trying to regulate itself again..good luck!

If you had unprotected sex, it's possible that you are pregnant since you are more fertile after having a baby.
It might be that you are still under the influence of your hormones and so you are not regular yet.
Take a test. If it's negative, relax. If it's positive, you have another bundle of joy on the way.

If you are breast feeding your period can stay away until you are done breast feeding. I had a baby on Oct 27th and have yet to get my period.
If you have had unprotected sex pregnancy is possible. Take a test and if you want to prevent a pregnancy call your doctor and talk to them about birth control options.

If you are breast feeding your cycle can be irregular, light or non existent. If you are not breast feeding your cycle can still be irregular due to fluctuating hormones. Yes it is possitive to get pregnant as easly as one week after giving birth. If you think you are preg take a test. If the irregular persoinds bother you, you can talk to your doctor about it. He may suggest birth control pills to get you regulated again. You can take a mini pill (progesterone only) while breast feeding to prevent pregnancy.
