How do you hold your pen? Soft, like a marshmallow, or heavy like a fork?

And is your writing considered neat? I'm trying to find out how neat folks do it. I'm trying holding softly and my writing seems much improved.

I hold it kind of hard I guess, especially when for some reason I am trying to write right-handed (I'm a lefty). Go to www.bored.com and take the writing analysis test/drawing test that tells you about your personality. Mine even went so far as to tell me I was depressed, like I didn't already know.

A little of both. When I'm writing poetry, or just a note, I'm pretty easy with it. When I"m rushing something like a report, or in a hurry, I'm holding that pen like a d***, haha!

I do hold mine kinda hard. I've also learned that a medium point pen also makes the writing smoother.

I can't hold it too hard, it won't write well. My handwriting used to be good but now I don't care anymore, it's the other person's problem.

it really the depends on my mood, the madder i get the harder my writing is to read, and trust me thats bad
