Does ps2 games work on PS1?
I know the controllers work. what about the games?

no, the playstation could not handle the ps2 games anyway
besides, if the ps2 games could work on a ps, why would they have ever made a ps2?

No, the graphics card inside the ps1 console is not good enough to play ps2 games.
