Period abnormalities can be due to many things including stress, weight gain/loss, thyroid, hormonal imbalance, infection, illness, medications, polyp, cyst, amongst other reasons. The only way to know for sure exactly what is going on is to see your doctor for an exam and testing.

You have a short menstrual cycle, which is normal if it's not contributed by other medical problem. It is so anoying that you have your period every other week, better ask your OB-GYN about this, there's a pills to make your cycle regular or 28days cycle.

you should go to your doctor. My aunt used to be like this b/c she has two uterus. Or, your eggs are just producing rapidly? idk but if I were you, I would definitely go see the doctor. I would hate to have my period every 2 weeks. maybe if they put you on birth control it will regulate it more.
