You know what i can't say no to that, and it is possible. I thought the same thing last year about the Steelers and Bettis! That they went on that winning streak at the end of the year to get in the playoff, then at the #6 seed won the Super Bowl in Detroit for Bettis because he was retiring!

The 8-8 Giants in the NFL playoffs vs. the Eagles is sort of like 6-6 Iowa vs. Texas in the Alamo Bowl. Call it the "Mediocre Bowl". And just like the Hawkeyes got blasted by the much superior Longhorns, the Giants should get clobbered by the Eagles. In the "Any Given Sunday" NFL, I won't say they don't have a chance, but even if they beat Philly, they will likely lose the next week at New Orleans, where they already lost big just a few weeks ago.

fiirts add the number of prima donnas: coughlin, shockey, burres, strahan. substract the notable team players: tiki, mcqquarters. add away games they have to win to get to the bowl. add public meltdowns. add ouside pressure : team with the most high profile players, nyc media, manning expectation. divide by number of teams in the nfc. yeah they have a chance
