Do you think that women wearing neckties is an attractive look?

Question

I have recently started wearing neck wear and have gotten some good reactions from people and some strange reactions too (and no I'm not a lesbian, stripper or a waitress). The look is growing on me and some people have actually said that I have gone from plain looking, to interesting. Do you agree, is this a hot look or do i just look stiff? See my 360.

Oh, no offense to lesbians out there. Just had another person e-mail me with that comment.

Don't pay any attention to what other people think, just be yourself. Everyone has their own sense of style so why shouldn't you?

Well I must admit that this necktie idea did sound goofy until I saw your 360 profile, and it's not that bad at all! Not everyone could pull it off, but you seem to be doing a great job of it! It's pretty cute, and the guys will probably like it because you will definitely stand out in a crowd. The only thing I would suggest is not to wear it ALL the time, you don't want to be labeled as the weird "tie" girl! Mix it up a bit. I try not to wear the same accessories more than once or twice a week, because the look will get old, it will defeat the purpose of being different.

There was a time after the movie Annie Hall had played where all
the young girls wore ties. It was a fashion statement at the time
and some of the prettiest , model like girls wore them , with
button up white or beige shirts and flair legged pants. I guess it
had its fans back then and will probably make a comeback as all
fashion does sooner or later. Some women look good in this and
for some it just doesn't work for them. I didn't wear them.

You're an attractive woman - I'm not sure that the necktie is enhancing your looks per se - but perhaps the percieved "androgeny" of the necktie look is accentuating your femininity, and drawing more attention to your face.

What were you wearing before? perhaps THAT was plain.. (not you)

In any event - I think you're cute - certainly not queer looking nor stiff.. If the tie thing is working for you . go with it! just don't use it like a crutch and become "that-tie-wearing-girl"

Ok so in my opinion there are two possibilities: 1. Society is wrong and has taught girls that they've got to wear really revealing to be attractive or just it's the done thing 2. They are a **** I remember a quote I saw about this it was something like "wearing revealing clothes is like rolling in manure, yes you'll get attention but only from pigs"

I do! I am a woman and I love to wear neckties. Lots of comments, but my favorite was when someone compared it to an old Playboy spread where the model was wearing a tie and not much else!

You probally get alot of looks because you hit it on the head when you said your not a lesbian but thats what it looks like let your hair down and loose the tie open a button or two relax you look to uptite with the tie its way gone like the early 80s

15 years ago, I use to wear ties to high school. Your pictures look nice. Remember that Fashion is what someone else tells you to wear. Style is what you chose on your own.

Yeah that looks dumb If I was to see you on the streets wearing that I would think that you are wearing your work clothes or a school uniform
