According to a radio station countdown called "Biggest Hits of 2006", which was a 98-1 countdown that I heard on 1-1-07, "Promiscuous" by Nelly Furtado and Timabaland.

Most likely "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley. It's been a craze here in Seattle, and we still play it on our Hit music stations.

It's got to be that song. It's so popular, that people are singing it EVERYWHERE in Seattle. KISS 106.1 called "The Summer Song of 2006" and other stations and magazines called "Crazy" one of the best song in generations.

It's got to be "Crazy" by Gnarls Barkley.

Not only was the song heard everywhere (I heard it in NYC bars, coming out of cars, overflowing out of earphones, etc.), and the video was incredibly eye-popping, but the song was amazing, too.

Seriously, you listen to it once, and it doesn't leave your head for weeks. Best song of the year, hands down.
