i've heard it has something to do with the amount of water you drink. i think it was back when i was pregnant that i was told to drink plenty of water, which would help with the cramping. hope that's helpful!

i have sever cramps and sometimes it is better that way because this way i can always tell when my period is coming up.

Not sure.. I've had cramps sinve I've started my period, but not sever ones. But I think that it just has to do with the woman and her uterus.
