Are you trying to induce labor naturally? Do not attempt whatsoever to induce labor under 40 weeks. If you do, you will end up giving birth to a baby who's not ready to thrive outside the womb.
Best way is to just wait until the baby is ready to be born.
If you are already in labor and trying to speed it up, then walking and stimulating the nipples are good.

Nothing works when there ready they'll come. I was due at the end of Dec. I tried everything from sex, walking, 9th month tea, pineapple, eggplant parmasian, to name a few. I started at 37 weeks got frustrated and gave up around the end of 38 weeks. My baby is now five days old and came two days before his due date. I thought for sure he would come earlier due to me standing on the job 40 hours a week. But my angel came when he wanted and he still wasn't ready I had a emergency c section due to him turn sideways. My best advice is relax and enjoy these last days they will all end soon enough. I know you're uncomfterble but take advantage of your time while you can. Best of luck to you and yours.

Oh girl! I drank castro oil! It really works! I drank it the first two kids I had and it put me in labor within the next 6-10 hours! It is horrible to swallow so you kinda have to imagine its like semen only smells! I drank orange juice with it. It really did work though. However my last (3rd) daughter it didn't work. You buy it in the laxative isle and it cleans you out before you get to the hospital too.

Well, lets see:

1. An enema
2. nipple stimulation
3. laxatives
4. Accupuncture (this actually worked with me)
5. Massage the ankles and feet (around ankle bones and achiles tendon especially)

Good luck! The end is so LONG isnt it???

My friend and I were both pregnant about the same time, and we both went beyond 40 weeks. She gave birth first, and I was grousing about being overdue, so she told me she ate a hot fudge sundae just before she went into labor. I went to the same ice cream place and got a hot fudge sundae and went into labor that evening. ;-) Hope this helps. But the baby has to be really ready to come for the hot fudge sundae to work its magic.

You are still two weeks away from full term, and if this is your first child, they usually stay in a bit longer than 40 weeks. I know you are excited, but it is best for the baby if you let him/her come when they are ready.
