Does anyone know how to repair a torn area on a Down Jacket.?

there is no pretty way to do it. You can buy patch kits at your local sporting goods store. I got holes burnt in my moonstone gore-tex jacket when someone at work decided to throw a lit bottle rocket in my truck. Rather than killing them I bought a patch and cut it out in the shape of a lightning bolt, Then you just stick it on. Its not the most beautiful patch but it serves its purpose its been on for two years now and threw the wash multiple times. Good luck sorry to here.

Be creative with duct tape..it will not be pretty but it might be imaginative and it will work...
