I walk barefoot all the time, everywhere. Never "gotten a disease" or fungus or anything of the sort. Actually, athlete's foot occurs when folks put moist feet back into those foot coffins called shoes. Be merry this new year!

I've been barefoot for ten years, summer and winter. It's comfortable and healthy! People in the US are just biased against it because of the persistant myth that it is against Health Dept laws to go barefoot in stores, however that's not the case. There are no laws, from the Health Dept or anyone else, against barefooting in stores or restaurants or any other public place.

My orthopedic dr. he said I am ruining my feet by walking barefoot so he ordered me to wear "good shoes" like Merrell Guess he has stock in them.

I care. I like my feet to be soft, smooth and well moisturized. At least one should wear flipflops. Only monkey men walk around in bare feet.
*dude, you have a foot fetish? I checked your profile and you have about a million and a half questions about feet and feet related activities...........hmmm........*
*Also, its not a health issue (when it comes to restaurants/stores prohibiting bare feet), its a liability issue. No one wants to get sued if you get a piece of glass or metal wedged into your narley feet, so put some shoes on* LOL
