I'm not even sure if it is considered a rash. It's these dry scabby spots on her outer leg. First a few spots now I feel rough spots on the outer calfs. When you feel it it's just rough and when you look at it it looks like it is turning into a scab.
She's 3 months old
I have been putting Aveeno lotion on her everytime she comes out of the bath.
She drinks formula (similac).

Could it be impetigo?

you may want to try putting just Vaseline on it, it sounds like dry skin, is it cold where you are?? I'm in ND and the air here is so dry my baby's skin gets the same way, especially his cheeks so I just keep putting Vaseline on it every morning noon and night and it eventually goes away. But if your worried talk to your doc. or just wait for your baby's 4 month appt and ask then.

Probably eczema - very common, winter dry skin. My baby had it too, but daily lotion is improving it. Talk to you doctor if you're worried, but I think just keeping up the lotion, maybe do it twice a day, will solve the problem.

Eczema. My daughter has had it since she was born. We have tried everything from switching formula to switching detergents. The only thing that has worked so far is Eucerin calming cream. Maybe you should give it a try.
