I'm not bashing but if he really has done everything "on the level" and has nothing to hide why would he feel this necessary?
Is he perhaps being paranoid or just overly cautious?

I think that any president who is expecting the kind of inquiries that the democratic congress and senate are promising to pursue would be hiring lawyers, not just a guilty president.

However, I think he's guilty as sin, at least of constitutional crimes such as torture, lying to get the country into war, and domestic spying!
