Ebay can be cheap or expensive...you have to have a strategy going in. Here is what I do. I set a ceiling (limit) on how much I will spend altogether. Generally my limit is 10 bucks (I mostly buy books). Suppose someone is selling a book with a starting bid price of .01. Lots of people do that, by the way. The shipping price is $3.00. I will set my maximum bid at $7, so that if I don't get outbid and the bidding goes up that high, I will not spend more than $10 total. That's a good way to avoid getting caught up in "bid fever."

I eBay quite a bit. They do have some good deals, however, be cautious of the shipping price! It may look like a good deal, but, the shipping may cost as much as the actual price. I repeat, always check out the shipping cost BEFORE buying!

You can buy items on ebay for 1/4 of the retail price..its the shipping that kills you. It depends on what you are shopping for if its worth it. Just have to compare your local store price to see if the auction price plus shipping is lower.

It depends on who you buy from. Some people suck at it. My mom sells, and she's only gotten like 1 or 2 bad feedback comments in 6 or 7 years.

Ebay is awesome! As long as you know how to buy and read small print! Just make sure it's what you want and good condition or new. Great prices and good stuff!

It depends on what you're buying. Some things are expensive, some things are cheap. It's like buying items at a regular store, except you get them shipped to you.

i could verify the historic past of the supplier and the comments previous vendors have left. If he does not settle for paypal i does no longer do the transaction with the aid of fact papal has an anti fraud gaurentee. yet while its too good to be genuine then i could be truly carefull.
