Technically if you have a really short cycle, for example 3 weeks then there is a chance you may have ovulated earlier than the "textbook" timeframe. Generally the time betwee ovulation and the time your period starts ranges from 10-16 days and will normally only fluctuate a day or two between cycles. (This is a generalisation though, not always the case).

If your cycles are generally regular, then work out when your next period is due and count back 10-16 days. There is a window period of 5 days prior to and 2-3 days after ovulation when your chances of conception are fairly high. (I say 5 days becuase sperm can live up to five days) Once an egg is release it generally only lives for up to 48hrs. If the 1st of january falls within this range then there is a chance you may be pregnant. If you are trying to concieve or are interested in learning more about your cycle check out www.fertilityfriend.com they have a free course you can take and you can access their online charting material which is free for basic access.

If you aren't charting your cycles, I would suggest you wait about 18days before you test.

If your period ended on the 31st and you had sex on the 1st then you are not pregnant. You will not ovulate until around the 14th of January.

Well, most likely, if your period ended on the 31st, and had sex on the 1st, it isn't all that likely that you are pregnant. You should try having sex again in a week and every night for a week, if you are TTC.

You'll have to wait a couple of weeks (usually a few days before your period is the earliest you can tell). Good luck!

you should ask him how he feels approximately having a brother or sister just to appreciate his opinion, if that's what you think of feels genuine. yet despite his answer could be, it continues to be as much as the the two one in each and every of you with the aid of fact the mum and dad and not him with the aid of fact the youngster. as nicely, he's sufficiently previous to have a life-time of his own, and is approximately to initiate college. meaning that likely he won't be around all that lots despite if he resides at domicile. as long as your house is great sufficient for him to no longer ought to take heed to a crying infant at night, i in my opinion do no longer think of that he is going to ideas the two way.
