If you go anywhere online or in person there is no guarantee that what you purchase is going to be identical to what you picked out. There is a guarantee that you will get something similar and in the price range you paid, but no guarantees of the exact picture being what you get, unless its something like your basic dozen roses. If you are that worried I would recommend you go to the florist pick up what you order and deliver it yourself or have a friend deliver it (also that way you know the person will be around when its delivered, after all Vday is a big delivery day!)
Have a GREAT day!

Forget about FTD. All they'll do is charge you an extra $12 or more above your flowers and delivery. The San Fernando Valley is big. In Sherman Oaks, I'd recommend Sherman Oaks Florist or Mark's Gardens. Both have top quality professional florists that will recommend the season's finest and tell you what you'll really get. I also second the recommendation to use Locateaflowershop.com since they only list real local florists.
Check out each shop's website. If it looks boring, move on to the next one.

If having a problem locating a florist go to FTD on-line to make a selection. They will make sure it is delivered by the nearest agent for them.

Hi there....here is a good website to look for Flower Shops near you.
http://www.locateaflowershop.com
You might wanna try getting red roses and red tulips! They look so gorgeous together......trust me it's so much different then getting plain red roses! ⥠Good Luck! =)

http://www.ftd.com/ delivers nationwide
you can find local shops via maps.google.com or yp.yahoo.com
There is no way to see what will they deliver as their stocks change every day. Flowers are grown in small batches, not mass-produced on assembly line.
