Have you ever seen a dog-fish? Or a cat-fish? If so, what kind of bait do they use?

I was using a play on words; "have you ever seen a dog fish?" Or "Have you ever seen a dog fishing?"

never caught a dog fish, but to catch a cat fish, use a worm, sardines or any other small fish cut up. make sure to use a wieght close enough to the bait, becasue catfish dwell on the bottom of the lake or river

I've caught many dog-fish! These buggers will eat ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!! Try old, rotten bait fish like herring. They are scavengers and will truly eat whatever you put out there. Use a long wire leader too, they put up a good fight. And if you do catch one be careful handling it. There is a barb, just before there dorsal fin that'll tear up your hands when he starts to squirm! Good luck!

I prefer the parrot fish, myself. It pries open clams and mussels with its beak.
