into punk rock, indie music, 70's, 80's music, all kinds really, or writing, classic movies, different stuff like me? I'm a nice person, easygoing, easy to talk to, non judgemental, like to joke around a lot, but be serious and be a good listener too. I have lots of nice guy friends, but for some reason the lesbian/bi women hate me? Hmm, any advice or insight would be nice and appreciated, preferably by people who are gay, bi, or non-judgemental of us, thanks!
PS: I like getting IMs from anyone cool or nice, even ppl who are different than me, women, men, whoever really, I have all different kinds of friends.

I have tried going into rock/punk chat rooms but they are mostly shallow, straight women that talk down to me for just being myself. I would welcome having straight friends online as long as they don't care about my sexuality!

I've been online for years. You've just got to keep looking. While there are a couple nice people online, there are a lot of ugly people out there that make it hard to find the few nice individuals. Just kep looking.

I love the 70's and 80's sometimes i'll just walk around a shopping mall and start singing,i mean who are people to judge about other's and what they do and some straight women are really freaky so don't worry about it somewhere even closer than you think there someone who loves the same music as you.

They are just shallow,im a lesbian and i love 70's,80's and indie,i find that some people dont talk to me either as im a little shy.The world is full of people like that,don't worry you aint alone.

i love 70s music. totally the greatest decade in music history.. love everything from classic/blues rock (stones, aerosmith, zepplin) to heavy metal (ac/dc, kiss, black sabbath), to country rock (eagles, crosby/stills/nash, neil young, etc...)
80s music is cool too, at least some of it.. U2 is one of my favs.
not much of a movie person these days, but i do enjoy the classics from that era.. psycho, rocky, etc..
don't know you well enough to be able to advise as to why people seem to hate you..

I guess you have been talking to the wrong women because I'm bi and I like all those things and women. Maybe you're just meeting the wrong women. I think we could have a great time!
