im 17, and i might go to uni soon, im not sure if i will make many freinds in the future or even get a boyfriend/husband, and i dont want to be in the same position in like 30 years, and not acheiving that things i wanted to do. did any of you feel like that? there is still time to decide! but maybe its just a teenage thing.

Yeah it's a teenage thing. Everybody felt that way when we were at that age. Fortunately after a year or two everything will seem much more clear for you. At the time being you don't know exactly what you want. But don't worry hun you will be ok.
Btw another thing, you are only 17 years old so please don't think what will happen to you when you are 30 years old. Live your life day by day till that day you feel that you are ready for commitments and ready to have a relationship as well.

We all feel like that from time to time, whether we're in our teens, 20s, 30s... whatever! And none of us can be sure what the future holds. You're lucky in that you have everything ahead of you and that brings lots of opportunities- take as many as you can, as the more variety you have in life and the more experiences you have, the more likly you are to make great friends, meet a partner etc. Uni is a great place to start and there is so much time for you to achieve the things you want- hope you have a brilliant time!

Hi sweetie, Don't worry. Go to Uni, you will make loads of friends there. There is time for everything. The way you feel will pass. My son started uni this year, we leave abroad and he is studying in the UK, he comes home for holidays only like now for xmas. He himself thought the same as you not making any friends and now he is the happiest person alive. He has made so many friends and he says uni life is wonderful. No one knows for sure what their future holds, and no one can tell you either.
I'm not much older than you (23) but at your age i never thought id be doing some of the wicked things I'm doing now... Sometimes there are things in life that you know exist but never even think of as the path for you until it just happens, you know?
I still am uncertain what the future holds, one day I'd love to get married and have kids but who knows?
That's the wonderful thing about life... Enjoy!

Guess what? None of us does. Mother Nature does not let any of us see our future and for very good reason.If you knew what tomorrow held in stock for you and it wasnt pleasant or happy, would you want to see tomorrow come? Most of can only hope we make the right decision for our future. Adulthood prepares us to be able to handle any situation that comes along in case our choice wasnt the best one, learn from it and move on to another choice. Just trust your gut instinct for most of lifes challenges and trust your heart for relationships,and most of alldont be in any hurry to grow up;its not all what it is made out to be and itll come fast enough. i am about your age i feel the same way sometimes i think how do people get successful or basically how could they survive in the world with stress all around it. my college is going to start and i wonder if i am ever going to get or be what i want to be because life has so many surprises i am scared. thank you for asking this question.

hunny dont stress we all have worries like that ... i was the same but now im 21 , i made it thru college iv lots of great friends and iv a wonderful boyfriend...i still dont know were my life i sheaded but we're young yet so jus go along for the ride and enjoy yourself, you only young once!
