Bronchitis? The abdominal pain could be because of hernia, which is bothered by the cough?

You have an infection, increased temp is the body's reaction to infection. The upper abdominal pain is from the cough. Take Tylenol and Motrin every 4 hrs alternating, get a good cough syrup to suppress the cough and drink plenty of fluids. this could turn into pneumonia if you are not careful. I am not a Dr. but this is what I would do if I were in your situation.

You are sick! :)

101 isn't all that high of a fever for an adult. If you have a compromised immune system, seek medical attention. Otherwise, drink plenty of fluids, eat a little bit, and sleep a lot to enable your body to use its resources to get well.

If you are coughing due to congestion, you can take an expectorant to help loosen it (gross, but effective). If it just seems to be hacking, take a cough suppressant to stop it. Hold a pillow or stuffed animal tightly against you when you cough to minimize pain to your stomach.

It may be the coughing that is causing the pain. I hope you're under a doctor's care now, if not, then you need to go see one. That fever is a little high. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Hope you feel better soon, best of luck to you.

It sounds like mono, get to the doctor as soon as you can and get tested. I only think this because you mentioned the lower and upper abdominal pain.

(It should be a throat culture that they perform to check and see.)

It all depends. My normal body temperature is 96.5 to 97.5. So for me 101.6 would be a pretty high fever. If it were me, I'd have gone to a doctor and not Yahoo! Answers.
