I was recently on tri-sprintic birth control but stopped it in nov. I had 2 periods in nov. and the second one was bc i stopped my pills. I stopped the pills between the 22-25. Well in dec. i did not take any more pills and still had a period and it was like a regular one. Me and my fiance want to start trying to have a baby together next month. We have tried before but had no luck so we want to start trying again. Does anyone know if its possible for me to get pregnant since i had just stopped the pills and if so how long would it take? I dont wanna go to my doctor because i am deaf and id need a family member there to let me know whats being said and if my grandma knows she will be really mad since i live with her. I am 19 and my fiance is 26. I dont have a Gyn or anything so can someone please answer the above questions? Thanks.

It is possible to get pregnant the first cycle off the pill. As soon as your periods start coming regularly then you can assume that you are ovulating and can get pregnant. You will be most fertile 10-16 days before the start of your next period. Figure out about when you think your next cycle will be and count back 16 days--start having intercourse ever other day during this time. Good luck to you and baby dust!!
