you could either purchase the songs u want on ur work computer and burn a disk and transfer the songs to ur home computer. or u could do the opposite, burn ur home iTunes and load it onto ur work computer and that way u can uplaod ur laptop withut missing songs

Not quite understanding..Do you mean your ipod gets wiped out and only songs from your work computer are added? Your work computer is set to automatically update your ipod whenever it gets plugged in.
To fix, here are instructions straight from iTunes:

To load songs onto iPod manually:
1. Connect your iPod to your computer.
2. When the iPod icon appears in the iTunes window (under Devices), select it.
3. If the Summary pane is not showing, click the Summary tab.
4. Select "Manually manage music." (If you have an iPod that displays video, the checkbox says "Manually manage music and video.")
5. Click Music (below Library, on the left side of the iTunes window) and then drag songs and playlists to your iPod.

Okay...well itunes is tricky and it doesn't want people getting songs from friends, etc. So it will delete everything you have at home off of your ipod and then load stuff (or in this case you used ****) onto your device. What you wanna do is go home and "restore" your ipod. Make sure you have everything you want still in a playlist on your computer. Restoring will take everything off your ipod. Then take it into work and load everything on. Take it home again, and load everything else on and then make sure you dont do it again cause you can only do this once. Then continue at home with your downloading!

Hope this helped! At least thats what I DID!
