You only need to register yourself because you are EU citizen. However I wouldn't advise you to make the move at all, because wages in Netherlands are much lower then in UK and it's hard to find a job.

I think you should check with the Netherlands Consulate or Embassy whichever you have closest, regarding visa, working permit, etc. in case you need them.
