A quarterback like Steve McNair, when he went to the Super Bowl. When he was a rookie, critics said he would not be a very good quarterback because he scored low on his IQ test. But he took it again and received an average. That showed he had great compassion and determination. He made good decisions on and off the field. The decision making is probably the most important. Following that would be his accuracy. And the other things that allow him to excel was his average QB height, pretty good size, and sensed pressure without using his eyes.

Dan Marino - for his arm strength and accuracy
Joe Montana- deffinetly one of the best NFL clutch quarterbacks
John Elway- Especially because of that 1987 AFC championship game against the Browns (last 5 minutes, all that needs to be said)
Johnny Unitas- Records speak for themselves
Some other great QBs: Steve Young, Brett Favre, Bart Starr, Joe Namath, Troy Aikman, Warren Moon, Bob Griese, just to name a few

Micheal vick is that prototype guy arm, speed, size, left handed, he just needs the better receivers and coaching. Let put micheal vick on the colts same system and same receivers for the last 7 years. Vick would be awesome in a better situation!!same qb coach i believe vick it that guy.
Vick has the legs
Vick has the arms he throws with touch and power his deep ball is sick he can be very accurate
Vick has the brain if they would just coach him
Vick has the heart he plays hurt, he cares, he plays hard!!
The only vick is lacking is leadership and i think mcnabb does that better than anyone
A close second Mcnabb and i love vince young dude is the real deal. steve mcnair is underrated also!!

Basically what everybody else said, taller QB's have an advantage in the pocket because they can see over the linemen. If you watch Russell Wilson, he rolls out of the pocket a LOT because he can't see his throwing lanes. Michael Vick started as a scrambling QB because his short stature limited his ability to see receivers, now he plays a bit more like how Wilson does. Brees just has unreal footwork in the pocket.

Peyton Manning. Intellegent, perfect size, unbelievable arm, mobile enough, makes all the right reads and audibles.
