To conceive you need to have intercourse the days leading up to and the day of ovulation. To determine ovulation, figure out how long your cycles are (not every woman has a 28 day cycle). Say your cycles are 32 days long, ovulation occurs 10-16 days before the onset of the next period with 14 being average. So with a 32 day cycle ovulation would happen sometime between day 16-22 with day 20 being most likely. For the best odds have intercourse every other day during your fertile period.
