Last Year My Champagne Bottle Popped All By Itself At Exactly Midnight as the First Firework Exploded over Biscayne Bay

With 5 minutes left till midnight I was running late to a friends party. I got out of work 2 hours late and had a flat tire with no tools to change it. Luckily some one stopped and helped out so I was on my way. No way I would ever make it before midnight. In fact I was in the middle of nowhere with the only options being a chevron on my left and roughed up bar on the right. I didn't know exactly where I was so I didn't know where to go before the clock struck 12.
So I decided I didn't want to spend new years in the car or at the Chevron, off to the roughed up looking bar.
As I am walking in this very pretty lady around 25 is walking in also. I open the door for her and nicely say Hi. She was pretty from far, but beautiful from close. I lost my breath but still managed a silent "HI". She smiled at me and asked me if I had ever been there before. I said no I didn't want to spend New years in my car so I stopped at the bar. She made the cutest giggle I have ever heard and said she did the same thing.
It was fate. We spent the next few hours joking and laughing and having the best time of our lives. That was 5 years ago. She is my wife now and I couldn't be happier :-)
This would make a good story and I wish it was real but I made it up. You asked for a story and I wrote one. It would be really cool if it happened to some one though.

Last year we lit fireworks on a total fire ban day (because it was so dry) and accidently lit my backyard on fire whilst my parents were on holidays. My drunken friend then threw vodka on it. So after putting it out with the hose for about half an hour, i had to get up in the morning and cover the scorch marks in the lawn. Luckily that it was all dirt and dead grass (being a hot australian summer) and i could just dig it over and pat it down, but i had to repaint a large section of my fence.

WELL NOT ME, MY UNCLES WIFE HAD HER BABY RIGHT WHEN IT HIT 12 O' CLOCK LAST YEAR 2006, HE IS JUST THE CUTEST THING .
