Is there a technique I can learn for rolling numbers (prefurably 6s) everytime I roll the dice. Sometimes I play with 2 or 3 dice, incase that matters.

Thanks

There are techniques for minimizing the odds of a given side from coming up but they aren't going to do a gret deal to encourage a single side from coming up with greater consistency then any other. For that you need some cheap dice. Try to find inexpensive dice that are made with fewer quality controls. These dice are usually made overseas in Korea and are not always balanced properly. It takes time and effort and a lot of cheap dice but given enough time and effort you can find dice that will roll a given side more often than normal without them being "rigged" dice that have counterweights in them.

Avoid dice made in Germany for this purpose. German dice are known as some of the highest quality in the world and they almost always have exceptional balance so that no side is more likely to come up then any other. The dice most casinoes use are manufactured in Germany.

Another sneaky trick when using pip dice (dice with little dots instead of numbers imprinted on them) is to get the ones with hollowed out pips and then fill the pips opposite your preferred side with a putty or an epoxy that is colored to match the rest of the pips. Done properly, the fill-in is not readily noticable on casual inspection and the added weight will encourage that side to "roll down" or end up on the bottom letting the number you are after roll on the top. Again, this just doesn't change the odds of any single side coming up so often that it will be readily noticable to the people you are playing against.

Cheers,
Chris
