this dog is small & cute but I need to know the average price. I don't want to pay a ridiculous ammount

I have seen males range from $600-1200 and females range from $900-3000!! Now, I have seen them cheaper, but they don't usually have the best of qualities! You want to check the hair, make sure it isn't brittle or dry and check for history of health issues, especially since you said it was small!

OK. The average price for Yorkie terriers is about $500-$1000. I know for sure because we just bought a dog and we wanted to get a Yorkie but we decided to get another dog instead. They are great dogs and really want to be loved.

when i bought mine he was going to be a 6-9lb male and he was $650(this is a yr ago) then a couple months back we got 2 little yorkie poo's, the little boy's sposta b 4 1/2lbs and he was $1500 and the little girl is sposta b 3lbs and she was $2400 and these are completely reasonable prices...PRICY YES but average for the breed. we did plenty of research on prices and those are what your looking at. GOODLUCK!! they are great dogs! SMART SMART dogs!!! mines only a year old and he already knows how to sit, shake, laydown, roll over, get in your bed, no, no barking, get down, toy off the bed, bring me the ball, he loves fetch, they are just GREAT dogs...i love them! i hope you do too!! have fun!!!!!

Go to www.petfinder.org and search for a Yorki with a rescue group. Rescues are generally not as expensive, and usually are fixed and have had shots.

Try looking on petfinder.com and see if there are any in your area at a local rescue.
It should cost between 100 to 200 dollars for a fully vetted, shots, dewormed, spayed/neutered animal. You cannot buy a pet and take to the vet and get all of that for under 200. Good Luck.

be ready to pay quite a lot ...but always check out local organizations that have yorkies that you can rescue...i hope you find the right dog for you !

These little darlings will range in cost between $800.00 to $1,200.00 They are very expensive but they are very sweet little dogs.
