What a load of rubbish.
What evidence have you got to suggest that?
I'd predict if you did a study it would be the religious types who were more open to it - after all they've shown a huge amount of gullibility in another area haven't they?

Your statement is not supported by fact.
The vast majority of people who accept the vast amount of evidence showing evolution to be correct are rational people, who don't "believe" things, they look at the available evidence and make rational conclusions. The available evidence implies that we have never been visited by aliens, there are no alien spacecraft visiting earth, and there are no alien abductions.
In general it's people who are prone to believe in wild stories and fairy tales without any evidence to support them that believe in all the alien stuff -- that's the kind of thinking (or lack thereof) one gets accustomed to in religion, not science.
That said, the odds are good that there is intelligent life in the universe besides that here on earth. But they're all very far away, and the odds of them ever coming here are not so good.

I think that ET's do not conflict so much with the Bible. There is scripture that may be referring to them, such as where it states God's reason for bringing on the Great Flood.
It is interesting to read that, and then hear what some of those abductees are saying about the aliens trying to make human-alien hybrids, while having no idea what the Bible says.

Actually it is quite the contrary.
Most serious scientists consider Evolution a scientific fact. Not anymore just a theory.
Now there is a new tool: DNA analysis which evidence confirms and helps better defining the evolutionary tree and the links between species.

I know a lot of science people, including myself, who believe in evolution but don't believe in UFO abductions and such nonsense.
It sounds like you are over-generalizing.

I don't know any scientists who buy into that crap, but I know a hell of a lot of very religious people who do. If you're going to make a claim like that, you're going to have to back it up with a source.
