Okay well I really want to peirce my nose & from doing a lil research I've found that people said this [sterlize needle, rubbing alcohol, numb with ice, stick needle through, push nose ring in] & keep it clean. Thats what I found but then I found a lot of scary stuff too. & it does scare me. I dont want to paralyze my face or get it infected but what exactly are those chances anyway?
Any tips so that that doesn't happen? What should I do? My mother wont let me get it done, I am 13, how could I convince her to let me & be serious so that I actually could go to a professional?
GIVE ME LOTS OF ADVICE, EVERYTHING, just dont be a jackass :]*

Please, please, please, DO NOT DO THIS YOUR SELF.
Alot of things can go wrong if you aren't a skilled peircer. If you know nothing about pericing the chaces something will go wrong are very high. The most likely thing that will happen is that it will get infected and scar badly, and even if you sucessfu, lly perice your nose your mother can still make you take it out.
Also you are only 13 and your face will continue to change for several more years, if your pericing is in a perfect spot now it can migrate as your face continues to grow.
You need to figure out why your mother won't let you get it done. If it is because she doesn't know anythign about pericings then if you help educate her about them she may be more accepting and take you to get it done. If you mother has seen and heard lots of horror stories about peircings there may not be anything you can do to change her mind. If you talk to your mom in a reasonable manner about it your mom will realize you are serious. You need to sit down and go over her objections and help her see why you wnat this pericing in a mature way. Don't whine and cry about it , make her realize it is something very important to you and you don't wnat to mess up your body you want to get it done somewhere safe.
If you can't get your mom to say yes, or take you, look at it this way , you can go yourself when you are 18 and if you go yourself and pay for it yourself it will mean that much more. My mom would never let me get any thing but my first holes in my ear lobes , so i waited and waited till i was 18 and then went and got more holes in my ears , and neck and tounge... you get hte picture. Don't try and do this yourself as you can end up with scars and infections that can be avoided if you go and get a peircing profesionaly done.

Don't pierce it yourself! You do not know the proper technique nor have access to the proper tools as well as sterilization. Placement would be off, so much more likely to cause in infection and as well as scarring.
As far as convincing your mom, it may be difficult. The best thing you can do it show her you're responsible by telling her about the research you have done this far (on professional piercing, not self piercing). Tell her about the procedure as well as aftercare--also depending on why she doesn't want you to have a pierced nose.
If she cannot be convinced, oh well. You'll have to wait like the rest of us had to. By the way, if you do pierce yourself, you're just going to lose her trust and make her mad and being that you're 13 and living under her rules, that's no good. Good luck convincing her.

Put down the needle!!!! the worst thing to do is get it done yourself!...i know this girl who pierced her lip and it swelled up so bad she couldn't leave her house for like a week. (plus it looks really bad on her) Get your nose ring done by a professional, so that it will look really good. Nose rings can look really cute, and you don't want to mess yours up. Now to get your mom to let you get it done may be impossible...i know...my mom won't let me get my belly button pierced:( so you either have to wait until your old enough to get it done on your own, go to a place that doesn't check age or need parental premission(not recommended) get a guy friend with a deep voice pretend to be your dad, or beggggggggg until your mom lets you...good luck!!! i hope you get it pierced, and rock your nose ring:P!!

Also 100% on going to a shop. You don't want to mess with all the implications of piercing your own flesh. Pretty soon your nose might fall off and then where will you be? You'll have no one to sue but yourself, and you won't ever be able to smell anything!

Ouch. If you insist on doing this, please go to a professional. It's not worth messing this up yourself. Also, your nose is very close to your brain. If you get an infection, it could be deadly.
