If you haven't seen it yet try Fun with Dick and Jane. Ocean's Eleven is a good one too.

Hard to beat Rush Hour series, unless you've seen them already,
Bond or Blade is good action series, I or II not Trinity, that sucked. Snatch was great although not totally an "action" movie.
Personally I always like the classics, Bullitt, The French Connection, and Dirty Harry. Along with the Aliens and Predator series
The Stewie Griffon Movie is good.
Old school comedies are best, Groundhog Day, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Dr. Strangelove, Animal House, along with Chevy Chase National Lampoon films, Chris Farley movies, and Mel Brooks comedies (especially with Gene Wilder) are always hilarious.

The Rundown with the Rock was a pretty good action/comedy if you want to go to the dollar rentals True Lies was good too.
