i try everything..... and still just end up staying up till 2 every morning! circles under eyes, etc. help any ideas

There are some natural remedies you can try: Kava Kava, SAMe, Magnesium, even just extra B Vitamins. Of course, if you are taking medications you should always consult your physician before adding supplements to your health program.

Strenuous exercise in the evening - like join a volleyball group or run around with your kids.

Meditation. While nothing helps me sleep better than when I plan to use the time productively, meditation can be very helpful in getting through all the stuff on your mind. When we quiet the mind, it seems to work a lot better. I had a friend tell me that if I could count to 16 on each inhalation and 16 on each exhalation that I would be in a meditative state. I might have hit 12 a couple of times - 16 is hard - but after building up from 4 I was pleased and did feel I had reached a quiet mind at least. It can be very helpful in a short amount of time - though it may not work instantly.

A wise nurse gave me this method when I was in the hospital for weeks and weeks. It works every time. Lay down, with lights off, relax and take a deep breath in through your nose mentally counting slowly to 3, then slowly breath it all out through your mouth while mentally counting to 4. Do this ten times, well I have never get to ten, always fall asleep first.

Try 6 drops of german chamomile essential oil and 6 drops of lavender essential oil in a tablespoon of almond oil Rub this mixture into your neck and shoulders .. it 's a knockout

Try reading, or doing homework, or some kind of boring paper work. I dont know if it'll make you sleepy, but it works for me, even when i dont want it to.
