What, didn't you know? ... They are so clever, successful and cool that they hate being associated with lowlife drug users!
And of course they can stop any time they want.......

Traditionally the word junkie is used to mean someone who suffers addiction to Heroin. The vast majority of Cocaine (powder) users are social users who are not addicted. More recently users of Crack Cocaine have also been labelled as junkies, since these unfortunate souls are more than likely physically addicted.

Because those on any drug always think the other drugs are worse. When I was addicted to speed, we would always call heroin and coke users junkies and comment on how screwed up they were. Only we had it together.

Anyone who abuses drugs IS a junkie!!
Pushing/Doing drugs is JUNK!!
Wake up abusers, you have to wake up in the morning
with the same problems. Dry up & take charge of your
life. You have no one to blame but your selves & your
problems. One who is in control of their lives has a
head on their shoulders & can accept & reason
with themselves.
You can't blame anyone for your problems because we
have this thing called "A CHOICE". I am a perfect example of
this. I as a child grew up in a violent, drug abused lifestyle.
I was in that enviroment all my childhood, I chose & KNEW
better because I saw what it did to people, the hurt it caused,
the pain it caused. I never used drugs & this I can say till my
death. It's a cop out for anyone to blame someone for their
wrong doing when we have this thing called "A CHOICE".
Grow up & take responsability for YOUR OWN actions.

Not sure of your definition of "Junkie" as a drug abuser..? I use cannabis yet don't consider myself a Junkie. I don't use other drugs, therefore we put ourselves in selective categories.

Because it helps them to feel better about themselves.
I watch a lot of intervention. It has to be pretty hard to go through the addiction and come out well....
I admire those who are able to come back from that dark place.
And I pray for those who haven't yet.
