Yes, it obviously means they hate the politics that the leaders of Iran have put into place and the threat they present to the rest of the world at this time. It does not mean they hate Muslims. As in this country, it is not always easy to change the government and there are very many Muslims that want to co-exist with the rest of the world and they are powerless.

Anyone that hates Iran has strange problems.
First it is the cradle of civilization It is essentially everyone's nativity. We should rervere Iran.
Just the thought of hating a location seems weird to me. What do you think it is, the Cashew trees that people hate.

Then you don't hate Iran, just their government! If you don't clarify that you would be in the anti Muslim crowd!
Just remember Iran was a Democracy until the US CIA got it overthrown by staging terrorist attacks and blaming them on the government. The outgoing (CIA overthrown) democracy didn't like our oil companies, but the Shaw of Iran, our buddy that we put in, did!
America could care less about the spread of democracy! They are for the stealing of wealth, which is why everyone over there is pissed at us! We have been doing it for decades!

No, it is not unfair. Islamophobia takes many forms and its propagandists of hate have many excuses. And, for your information, Iran is not a totalitarian theocracy.

first, as every where in iran we have all kind of people so it is unfair and realy bad to hate from irans people,we are like others.
second, irans people are different from irans government.i myself hate GW bush but i have no problem with people of USA.

If you hate their form of government and their attitude, you are not hating Muslims. Iran hates pepole of the Jewish Faith. Therefore, my answer is no.
