Yes. Use cd-r for burn-once. With a cd-rw you can erase your data and burn the disc about 1000 times. With cd-r you can only write once and that's it.

You got it. It's a CD-R. As long as you have a CD-Burner ,you'll be good to go.
FYI, sometimes CD-R just don't work, if get one, or even a few, that don't work at first don't worry.
Also, there is a disk called a CD-RW which is a re-writable CD. You can use that to write something, then go back and erase it or add more. However, these have a limited number of uses and are not best for long term storage or buring cd's.

If you only want to use the cd one time, use CD-R. If you want to rewrite on the cd, use CD-W.
