Because no normal, law abiding, tax paying, sane person would have them. Maybe only for their money, but you can only tolerate an overpaid, underworked celebrity for so long. They live in an unrealistic world and their priorities are screwed up majorly. Sometimes the only other person that can tolerate them are others like them. Birds of the same feather flock together, but you'd be surprised at how many celebrities have NOT married or dated other celebrities.

It is a case of proximity as well as availability. You will gravitate towards those with whom you have contact. If no one knows you exist you can't be found. Birds of a feather, flock together.
People tend to marry those with whom they share similar interests and in the case of actors those who can appreciate the time that must be devoted to pursue and develop the craft. It isn't for everyone and difficulties can arise in these marriages when one partner's career excels while the other languishes.
