But of course. Men are expected to behave differently from women in many ways. We are expected to be the main providers, to be gentle and understanding toward women, to be the protectors of our home. My race hasn't really affected me much in the sense that I don't think about it too much even though I am foreign born. I see myself as self assured and in no need to fit in. This is probably because I come from a solid home and school system with the needed discipline and stability. Ethnically? I see myself as among the best out there. I know that many struggle with a sense of inadequacy, but I put that aside when I grew up. My father always said: do things well. And so I always strive to be better.
If I ever observed people from different backgrounds having trouble in the aforementioned areas it was probably due to lack of preparation either in their formative years or present financial situation.
That is my view in this regard.

I once saw an African-American gentleman enter the men's room when I was at the airport. Then I saw an African-American woman enter the women's room.
Is that what you mean? This involves both race and gender and how they do things differently.

Each race has their own culture and manners.
If an American and a Korean were to eat together during dinner, they'll observe different practices while eating.
