Hi,
I just visited avast support forum aqnd I noticed that someone had posted a false positive trojan that avast has found...this could be what you are getting..checkout their support forum on their home page.
This is also why I now use avg free 7.5 no more false positives.

i hope you have a backup of your system cuz the Trojan virusses are so hard to get rid of. Chances are if you move it to the chest it still will not be able to remove or quarantine it. If you are not a computer wiz then trust me just take it in to get it fixed. Trojans are really pesky cuz sometimes they can get around your startup and just cause all sorts of problems If you try to do it yourself you will just end up having the most stressful, boring, aggrivating days and then eventually you will realize that you just were waisting your time just to realize it was really worth it just to take it in for repair. If you can install the backup. Best of luck.

You can also choose to delete them. There's an option somewhere in the program that you can set for Avast to notify you about the virus it found and what to do with it. You can choose for the program to delete it or move a chest.

Scan the PC with standard antivirus software. If you do not have one, I can give a few links that offer free virus and spy ware removers...!You may be having a virus or spyware installed on your PC. Norton, AVG , Avast are free antivirus software. Ad-aware, Ewido are free spyware removers. You can download free softwares at

That is one of the drawbacks Avast's user interface, read about it in the following review.

I recommend you get AVG anti-virus, it has a more automatic approach to disinfecting your PC.

Good Luck!
