JUST BE FRIENDS.WHAT;S WRONG WITH THAT?
IS HE ATTEMPTING ANY SEXUAL CONTACT BETWEEN THEM?
THEN GET HER TO KICK HIM OUT.
OTHERWISE I SEE NO HARM IN THAT CONTACT.
GREETINGS:ROB
TALK TO YOUR SISTER AND JUST ASK HER WHAT'S UP.

Very few of the answers here are paying attention to the fact that your sister and this guy are both VERY YOUNG!!

Your sister has NO BUSINESS DATING ANYONE at that age! At least not on a "one on one" basis. If my neice had started dating anyone at that age, I know my brother would be at the front door holding a shotgun!
This is NOT the Renaissance, we do NOT marry our children off at such a young age. We live longer, we are better educated...
Letting a 12yr old date in this day and age is simply asking for trouble.

How old are you? Your sister is going through the beginning of puberty and is going to have all sorts of feelings. You need to take care of her. As far as what she should do, hang out with you so you can keep an eye on him if they are in the same place. Friends for right now until she is at least 16 or 17 to date. Also...Where are your parents during this???

what do you think she should do?? SHE IS12 YEARS OLD!!!!
She is still a little kid and he is too.
She should quit thinking about such nonsense and concentrate on her karate. Being friends with the boy is fine, but any sort of dating nonsense is just ruining a 12 year old from the get go.

Let them spar. It'll be good practice for later :)

She's young, he's young...they shouldn't "date" but rather, spend time together, see if something happens later. She shouldn't feel too much pressure to "hook up" or whatever. Maybe they could do stuff with other friends as a group. Then her crush won't be so obvious and she won't feel destroyed if he's not that into her--it won't be like it's just him and her and nobody else around.

If they have a lot in common and they like each other, what's the problem? With only a two-year difference, this is one of the times where "love is love". As long as he is a nice guy, let her go for it, but make sure your family meets/knows him well first. If they already do, than I think she should date him.

well, shes 12. and if she really likes him, she should go after him. but its a 2 year age difference and shes pretty young. she needs to talk to him like any other person who likes someone would and see if anything could happen.
