As far as novel writing goes, nanowrimo.org is a great place! NaNoWriMo takes place in November (you write a novel in a month), but they're launching Script Frenzy, a screenplay writing event, in June, so you might want to check that out. Aside from the internet, I like to read Writer's Digest; I've gotten a ton of great tips from there! =)

There are a number of creative writing course about. I don't know how good they are because I never did one. I just wrote and sold. There are only two things I can usefully tell you and that is write about what you know and something I found successful overwrite then edit it back so it you want 2000 words write 2250 or 2500 then edit if back to 2000 keeping the same sense and theme. It sharpens the piece up no end

My fav website is writersdigest.com. It is technically based on a magazine but has cool articles and things on it as well as some contests and a daily writing prompt.

I would strongly advise you to subscribe to Writers News. They may well allow you a three month free trial subscription. You can learn an enormous amount from this source. http://www.writersservices.com/res/rev/rm_writers_news.htm
