There is only a very fine line! It's amazing.
But the fine line lies between love and hate. I think indifference is much different.
If it's indifference it may never have been true love.
Love and hate are both very strong, passionate emotions.
And that is why it is so close between them. Indifference is not hot, it is cold. That is very different.
It can turn very quickly, like lightning! Once a betrayal, or something of that nature is discovered. Cheating, or backbiting, or hurting in some other way.
It can, in some cases, change back again over time. Love endures. Sometimes, but some people really do not agree with really giving a real chance.

The second I find out that the person I loved deeply selfishly had an affair is when I would begin to hate them.
So about a second for love to turn into hate.
As for indifference, I don't think true love for a person could ever turn into indifference. Love for a thing, yes. For example, you could love a certain sport. But if life overcrowds your ability to dedicate time to this sport, you could begin to feel indifferent about it, hence losing the love you first had for it.

If it isn't true, real love to begin with then it can happen just like that. But true love can never "turn into" hate or indifference, not really.

Very quickly, the wrong word or the wrong answer will turn it into indifference, then it grows into hate.

i think normally it would happen over a slow period of time,,,,, when the person hurts you and does things that slowly kill your love,,,,, but sometimes the thing they do is so major that it throws you into shock,,,, from which you emerge with either hate or indifference ,,,, and that can happen very quickly

To know one the other must be known!
It is impossible to know love and not hate
it is impossible to see in the dark or the light... contrasts
For you know how much you could hate because once you were truly loved and have just forgotten
How quickly... but it has taken an "eternity" or so you think? things are moving rather quickly.

As quickly as you let it. Relationships take work and contrary to popular belief the longer you are together the harder it is to keep the feelings alive and well. There is nothing sadder than to feel someone you love pulling away from you emotionally and you have to work at not letting that happen if at all possible but if that is your fate it can happen very quickly indeed. Be vigilant and resolve to work on it and you may be able to avert that tragedy.

It can turn quickly only if it was not true love to begin with. True love, is not the same as infatuation. Once the desires of infatuation have been attained, the person of desire becomes less and less attractive. If it is love, thy become more so

when violence occurs, love quickly becomes hate.
Nevertheless, love is still always waiting there patiently, so that further violence are not retaliated.
when you have hated so much that you wanted to kill this person, yet you just would not kill him/her, you know why?
It is love. This is when hate becomes love.
