I dnt think you actually got it on ur dishes(lol) so I recommend getting some wd-40 or you can use veg oil on a q tip and apply either to the hinge of the door(on the bottom) It helps once you've applied it, to open and shut the door to work it into the grooves of the hinge. Also by the way,the ants are probably comming up a water drain there below the sink so I would also recommend that you have you'r landlord check it out or hire an exterminator because they'll just find a new route to get in your kitchen. Some WD-40, or any good general purpose oil, applied to the hinges should quiet things right down.

If you're worried about some oil getting inside, use a food-grade silicon spray.

Try spraying with WD40. The hinges not the ants LOL

Put a little oil on the hinges, you probably dried them out with the spray.

I would call pest control, I don't recommend spraying ant killer in your dishes, you have to eat off those, remember!
