The respiration rate of yeast will be a refletion of its growth rate (and
metabolism). It will be maximal near its opimal temperature. Below that
temperature, growth will be slower and hence respiration will be less.
However warmer is not always better, when you get much above the optimal
temperature, growth will stop and so will respiration.

For most brewing and baking yeasts the optimimum is around 30-35 C.
