HI everyone
I am going for an HSG test tomorrow and have been reading that this can increase the chances of getting preg as the dye can flush out any debris in the tubes ? Has this worked for anyone else ?

I had one done...I was also on clomid and got pregnant within about 2-3 months after. You are right I was told that sometimes the dye can push anything out that is blocking. My aunt had a HSG and was pregnant the next month

I've heard that too... and honest-to-god fertility clinics do claim that in some cases it helps. The increase is pregnancy rates is slight, and supposedly greater if they use an oil-based contrast rather than water-based. Of course, if your fertility issue is not blocked tubes (about 2/3 of the time) then it won't do you much good.

I had it, but there was nothing to flush out. I got pregnant a year later......

Good luck! I was out for mine because they did it with a surgical procedure....not too bad when I woke up...some cramps.
