The first day of my last period was dec. 8th(my periods last 5 days.). I had sexual intercourse on the 23rd and and 25th and both days he ejaculated in me and we had no condom (on purpose). I took a pregnancy test on the 31st and one today and both came out negative....I know its early to still tell if im pregnant but im so anxious to find out if i am or not. I have already had nausea 2 days in a row but only for a very short time. I feel more tired and sleepy..but then again it could be all in my mind...im confused(im not sure if its cause im getting my period soon or because im pregnant).so basically my question is...is it possible i am pregnant? When should I test again?

It is possible, but according to my calculations, your timing of intercourse may be off (although everyone is different). Generally, a woman is the most fertile around 10-14 days after the first day of her last menstrual cycle...which would mean that your peak time to get pregnant would likely have been somewhere between the 18th and the 21st. What is important is the length of your cyle (from the first day of your period to the first day of your next period) not the lengh of your period itself. You generally ovulate about 14 days before your period is expected again - count backwards about 14 days and that is the day you should be having sex. Of course, every woman is different, so get to know your cycle and signs of ovulation. There is a lot of information out there on the internet about trying to conceive and even cites to help you figure out when you ovulate. Resources are listed below. Once you conceive, it usually takes about another 10-14 days before it is detectable by an ordinary pregnancy kit. In any event, be patient - it will happen eventually. Good luck!

Try testing 2 weeks after intercourse. Also, be careful not to trick your body into having a false pregnancy. You can actually have all pregnancy symptoms and never have a period by just telling yourself that you are pregnant. It causes tons of unneeded / unwanted stress and confusion and then your periods get off track because you are not on time. It's amazing how powerful the brain is.

Considering you had sex around 14 days after your period started, which is also about the time most women ovulate, and the egg has to be fertilized within 24 hours of ovulation, I'd say yeah, you very well may be pregnant.

You may need to wait another week or two before finding any actual results with a test, though.

Anytime you have unprotected sex you can get pregnant... Wait till the day after your period is due, any earlier than that and you're trhowing $ away on tests. Had a 1 1/2 wk late period and only got one positive, a week after I was due. I miscarried the following tuesday, never got a + lab test. But I WAS pregnant. Sometimes it just takes a while to build up enough HCG in your system, is all.

Anytime you have unprotected sex there is a chance you could get pregnant. But it is way too early to tell and it's probably not a good idea to waste money on tests when a positive result will not show up until you miss your period. Just be patient and test if you miss your next period. You cannot force it to happen and buying pregnancy tests will not make a positive show up sooner.

With my pregnancy I tested 4 days before my missed period. I would try testing again but use your first urine of the day. Some people say it doesn't matter but it did for me. Mine only showed up with my first urine of the day.

Good luck and hopefully congratulations.

sure it's possible! Give it a week and then try the test again. I was actually 2 weeks pregnant before my test began to read positive!

Good timing with the unprotected sex. I think it was the perfect time to get pregnant. If 2 test came back negative though, there's a good chancethat you're not...try a third test.

Wait a week and try to relax. Sometimes stress causes your period to be late!

Good Luck!
