In the meantime, to copy and paste, highlight then hold down "control" and then "c" at the same time. That holds the copy. To paste it, click the place you want it to go and hold down "control" and then "v" at the same time. The copy will then show there. You'll probably need a new mouse. So, why not try to repair the one you have. Use lots of overhead light and just start breaking it down, cleaning, examining, figuring the guts of it out. Disconnect it first from the PC, of course.

A computer mouse is relatively cheap...some selling for 10. I would just get a new one. For mean time...You can use ctrl-c for copy and ctrl-v for paste.

I recommend you buy a new mouse, and while you do that you can use the combinations CTRL + C to copy and CTRL + V to paste.

Try to blow it out with a can of compressed it or just blow into it. You may need a new one if you use it a lot or have been rough with it. Has it fallen or anything. They aren't expensive I always keep a backup one. I would just replace it if that doesn't work.

Hi
Mice are so cheap, just pop for the 10 bucks and buy a new one.
Repairing them is a nightmare. Trust me on this one...

Just buy a new one. It's most likely jammed with dust and new ones are pretty cheap. Office Max has one for like $4.99.

Get a new mouse. You can get one relatively inexpensively ($15) at wal-mart.
