No. One of the most overrated movies ever made. The acting is Over The Top. I don't know how it got nominated for a Oscar nevermind win.

I loved it. Hopkins and Jodie Foster worked so well and perfectly, the plot, the soundtrack, everything fit perfectly in this movie. I didn´t like at all the sequel ..replacing Jodie Foster was the biggest mistake.

Hello =)
Of course....
Hannibal is the dark part of all of us...
We love him, even though he disgusts and terrifies us.
All in all, very few thinking people would have him destroyed, for that would be like advocating destroying a part of us. It is the yin and yang of things, I think. After watching all 3 movies, repeatedly, I can't even say that I think Hannibal is a "bad" man. Evil, perhaps, but perhaps not "bad"....
Namaste, and Happy New Year,
--Tom
